Matariki Wines vineyard and assets have recently been purchased by fellow GIMBLETT GRAVELS member Delegats Wine Estate. With a gross land area of 68hectares, the vineyard acquisition brings Delegat's total GIMBLETT GRAVELS holdings to just under 160 hectares. The Matariki brand was not acquired and it is understood that the grapes from the vineyard will be bottled under Delegat’s existing brands.
