Vidal Estate is one of New Zealand's oldest existing wineries, established in 1905 by Anthony Joseph Vidal, a Spanish immigrant. Vidal's Reserve range of gold medal & trophy winning Hawke's Bay Cabernet Sauvignon based reds are its strength and these are backed up by its Reserve Chardonnay and Reserve Noble Semillon. These Reserve wines are only made in vintages where the wines will reach the high standard required to be labeled as Reserve. The Estate range of reds consists of a Cabernet/Merlot and a Pinot Noir while the Estate range consists of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling.
