Hatton Estate is a family owned and operated winery established in 1992 by Michael and Colleen Daymond-King together with John Rees-Michael’s uncle- a viticulturist with over 20 years experience in the Gimblett Gravels sub region of Hawkes Bay.

The Wines
Tahi, an ultra premium Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc; is gaining international recognition as one of New Zealand’s finest red blends, a wonderful accompaniment to any fine dining experience.
Usual production 350-700 cases
EC2, unoaked Chardonnay made especially to go with seafood, particularly lobster, prawns and other shellfish, as well as grilled sea bass - a refreshing food friendly wine, perfect to take from the bar to the table.
Usual production 1,100 -1,500 cases
Carsons range, as single varietals or blended Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot at a price that won’t hurt the pocket, a great restaurant red.
